April showers bring May flowers!
April, traditionally a rainy month, delivers opportunity for May blooms! Everyone loves spring time and the birth of color. Trees begin to bud and make way for blossoms, and daffodils, crocuses and tulips let us know that warm weather is just around the corner.
Clean Out – Green In!
Spring is also a time to clean out! Throughout April, Wake ReStores will be celebrating spring with our Clean Out – Green In program! We are encouraging everyone to consider donating their unwanted, gently used items. As you clean out your home, don’t dump those unwanted items in the landfill, donate them to Habitat Wake ReStores! Your donations will find a new life with repurpose. Donations are tax deductible and help build homes, communities and hope. Proceeds from the ReStore support Habitat Wake’s mission to build safe, affordable homes in partnership with hardworking, low-income Wake County residents.
Last year, Wake ReStores diverted over 4,200 tons of materials from area landfills. These materials were "repurposed with a purpose." Customers purchase items for reuse in a variety of applications and home improvement projects. When you "clean out" your can "green in” with Wake ReStores. Throughout April, bring your donations to any of our locations in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Fuquay-Varina. If you have items too large for your vehicle, contact us to arrange a FREE Pick up:

Customer Appreciation Day
Join us on Saturday, April 18th as we celebrate Clean Out – Green In and our customers! All ReStore locations will be serving coffee and donuts with drawings for “Clean Out, Green In” prizes!
DATE: Saturday, April 18th
TIME: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
LOCATION: All Wake ReStores in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Fuquay-Varina
This event will be held in partnership with northAmerican Moving Services who is supporting Habitat ReStores across the country in “Go North Habitat ReStore Donation Program.” L&J Transportation Companies, Inc. are agents for North American Van Lines and are partnering specifically with Habitat Wake to encourage their customers to donate unwanted, gently used household items to our ReStores.
